A night to celebrate the positive impact we can all have on children, families, and our communities.
The Night of Starrs is an evening of thanks and celebration.
Serving children and families for 104 years, the positive environments we create for growth and discovery could not be possible without the generous contributions of caring individuals, businesses, and organizations. To celebrate the strong spirit of generosity within our backyard, a number of Stand Tall awards will be given to key community leaders in the area – leaders that share our commitment of the creating positive environments for children and families to flourish. This year, we will be honoring Hazel Maxine Martin-Lias from Albion, Brenda L. Hunt from Battle Creek, and Hans Schuler from Marshall.
The event will also feature hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, entertainment, and a collection of fundraising activities to advance our mission (i.e. various raffle and silent auction items that celebrate our local businesses and attractions, and a wine and beer pull).
If you are interested in adding an additional experience to your visit, a VIP event will be held at the Brueckner Museum art gallery from 5:00-6:00 PM, where attendees will be able to share the company of each award winner, Starr leaders and Trustees, and the silent beauty of the space and its many fine works of art. Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will also be provided at the gallery, in addition to live Jazz music (compliments of Albion college musicians).
We hope to see you on April 11th, and thank you for continuing to Stand Tall with Starr!
